TAMAYO  IKEDA

Née en 1971 au Japon, Tamayo IKEDA commence ses études musicales dès l'âge de trois ans. Elle intègre ‘’Toho Gakuen’’ à Tokyo avant d’être admise au Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris en 1989. Elle obtient deux Premiers Prix dans les disciplines du piano et de la musique de chambre avant d'intégrer le cycle de perfectionnement.

 

Boursière de l'A.P.E.F. ainsi que de la Société Générale, elle reçoit les précieux conseils de Maîtres tels que Dimitri Bashkirov, Halina Czerny-Stefanska, Léon Fleisher, Maria Joao Pirès.

 

Son jeu intuitif et passionné a été récompensé par un Deuxième Prix et le Prix spécial Claude Debussy au Concours International Yvonne Lefébure (pas de premier prix attribué), un Prix Spécial (Claude Debussy) au Concours International de Porto, ainsi que le Premier Prix au Concours International Francis Poulenc en 1999 (ainsi que le Prix Spécial Casadessus).

 

Tamayo IKEDA s'est produite en Europe, Norvège, Russie, Japon, Indonésie, Afrique du Sud ,Chine et États-Unis dans des salles aussi prestigieuses que le Carnegie Hall de New-York. Elle se produit régulièrement sur les ondes de France-Musique et plus particulièrement avec les plus grands solistes ou chefs tels que Régis Pasquier, Roland Daugareil, Gérard Poulet, Roland Pidoux, Jean Ferrandis, Florent Héau, Naoto Otomo,etc.

Sa discographie comprend un enregistrement des œuvres de Poulenc et Fauré et elle a également enregistré un DVD consacré aux oeuvres de Ravel et Stravinsky avec Patrick Zygmanowski et un CD Schubert paru en juin 2009 qui a été salué unanimement par la critique. Elle prépare un nouveau CD avec un grand violoniste Gérard Poulet et un autre CD avec Jazzman Giovanni Mirabassi en 2019 (Continuo Musique; UVM Distribution https://www.uvmdistribution.com).

Tamayo Ikeda was born in Japan in 1971, and began playing at the age of three. She joined the Toho Gakuen institute 1986 and she moved to France to complete her studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur in Paris, where she studied piano with Jacques Rouvier and chamber music with Régis Pasquier. She was awarded two first prizes in these disciplines before joining the higher studies class of Pascal Devoyon.

Tamayo Ikeda is the beneficiary of a grant from the APEF and the Société Générale Bank, and has received valuable advice from leading artists such as Dimitri Bashkirov, Halina Czerny-Stefanska, Léon Fleisher and Maria Joao Pirès.

Her intuitive yet structured playing style adds poetry, charm and coherence to her interpretation.. Her unique approach to the repertoire has been rewarded in many competitions, including Second Prize and the special Claude Debussy prize at the Yvonne Lefébure International competition (no first prize was awarded that year), a special prize at the Porto International competition, and both First Prize and the special Casadesus prize at the Francis Poulenc International competition.

Tamayo Ikeda has appeared at a number of major European festivals, in South Africa, Russia, Indonesia and at prestigious venues such as the Carnegie Hall in New York. She has appeared on several television and radio programmes.

Her discography includes a recording of works by Poulenc and Fauré, Arcobaleno, 2001 as well as a compact disc of Stockhausen sonatas with the clarinettist Jean-Philippe Vivier [Solstice, 2001] and a compact disc of works by Schubert [Warner-Lontano, June 2009] ; She is now recording a disc of russian works by Stravinsky, Prokofiev with a famous violinist Gérard Poulet. 横浜雙葉、桐朋女子高ピアノ科卒。山岡優子、松岡貞子、関晴子、橋爪玲子各氏の指導を受ける。1989年渡仏。同年、ストレートでパリ国立高等音楽院入学しジャック・ルビエ氏の指導を受ける。また、室内楽をレジス・パスキエ、ジャン＝ミシェル・ダマーズ氏に師事。1993年ピアノ、1995年室内楽の両部門において同音楽院の金賞受賞で卒業する。後、同音楽院演奏科マスターコースに入学。APEF,ソシエテジェネラル銀行の奨学金としてパスカル・ドヴァイヨン氏のもとで研究を続けると同時にドミトリ・バシキロフ、ハリーナ・チェルニー ステファンスカ、レオン・フライシャー氏などにも教えを受ける。

イヴォンヌ・ルフェーブル国際ピアノコンクールにおいて、第二位受賞（一位該当者なし）。同時に、ドビュッシー賞も受賞。そのほか、ポルト市国際コンクール（フランス音楽賞同時受賞）、エピナールピアノ国際コンクールなど、数々の国際コンクールに入賞。またプーランク国際ピアノコンクールにおいて、大賞第一位を受賞。同コンクールにて、ロベート・カサドゥス賞も同時に受賞。

アヴィニオンオーケストラ、パリ国立高等音楽院オーケストラ、ボルドー国立オーケストラなどと共演のほか、ラジオ・フランス、テレビも数多く出演。現在は各国（フランス、ベルギー、 イタリア、ドイツ、 スイス、 ポルトガル、 ハンガリー、スラヴァキア、 ノルウェー、 アフリカ、インドネシア、アメリカ、中国、インドネシア、ロシア、日本など）でソロ奏者、室内楽奏者としてのコンサート活動のかたわらモンペリエ地方音楽院、エコールノルマル音楽院で指導後、フランス国家教授資格を修得。現在はパリ市区立音楽院16区プーランク音楽院、7区サティ音楽院で指導にあたっている。

 

ボルドー、横浜で毎夏開催された音楽祭MUSIQUES FESTIV'の創立者の一人である。

CD録音ではピアノソロプーランク・フォーレ集(Arcobaleno)、ピアノ１台4手連弾（ラヴェル、ストラヴィオンスキー集）のDVD（Creative Arts)が 発売された。2007年には、ニューヨークのカーネギーホールデビュー（ピアノ四手連弾リサイタル）2009年、シューベルトピアノ連弾集（ワーナーレコード）を発売。2015年にピアノダンス集が発売。（ハーモニアムンディ）2020年にはバイオリニストの巨匠ジェラール・プーレらとロシア音楽集(Continuo Classics)、2022年にはピアノソロシューベルト歌曲集(リスト編曲)を発売(Ulysses Arts- Con Anima）。
